SNEAK PEEK INTO THE PROJECT

ICC Official Fan Merchandise is where cricket fandom turns into wearable emotion. During the World Cup season, FanCode Shop partnered with JUMPINGGOOSE® to create a high-impact brand film for a merchandise launch campaign, that got streamed on Hotstar & Star Sports. The brief was to capture the emotional intensity of cricket across a diverse fan base and translate it into a compelling narrative that builds affinity for official merchandise.

The film brings together fans across ages and personas through a shared emotional thread. It reflects the passion for cricket in India as a unifying force, connecting individual expression to collective identity. A brand film that turns emotion into connection, and connection into product, through a seamless narrative.

THE APPROACH

Rooted in the emotional highs and lows of cricket, our approach was to treat the film like a great innings. Carefully paced, charged with anticipation, and designed to peak at just the right moment.

We built the narrative around the lived experience of fans. The nervous waits, the explosive celebrations, the heartbreaks, and the unfiltered joy that only cricket can bring. Every frame was crafted to balance spectacle with relatability, ensuring the merchandise felt aspirational yet deeply personal.

Brought to life through a meticulously crafted stop motion film, the project was executed as a turnkey project. From concept and scripting to visual language, on-set direction, original music composition and post-production, every stage was handled.

The film was developed with platform adaptability in mind. The final output included a primary brand film for TV and streaming, supported by multiple cutdowns and a suite of social-first assets designed to sustain engagement throughout the tournament.
